Total Calls Handled: 19461
Calls are tracked with 1 call counted per
incident whether EMS, fire or multiple
apparatus respond to it. Duplicate calls are not generated if both
fire and EMS vehicles respond.
Fire Calls are counted as those of that type, for instance a structure
fire would be categorized a Fire type call. EMS
calls are categorized in the same fashion. EMS
calls also include injury auto accidents, a call in which fire apparatus
usually respond as well.

With a
large increase in calls for mutual aid in the last few years, we have
begun to track not only how many calls we respond to, but also whom we go
to, and how often. Outgoing mutual aid is counted as 1 call per
incident even if multiple pieces of apparatus respond to it.
Incoming mutual aid is counted as one call per incident per department,
even if multiple apparatus respond from that department.
